Eco Femme states this product features leak proofing with a PUL (polyurethane laminate) on the back layer. It consists of 7 absorbent layers (1 top layer + 6 inner layers). The top layer is dyed with synthetic colours that meet the organic standard, while the inner layers are undyed and unbleached. Eco Femme indicates that the pads will last approximately 75 – 100 washes, or 3 - 5 years, depending on usage and care.
