It features leak proofing with PUL (polyurethane laminate) on the back layer and contains 7 absorbent layers (1 top layer + 6 inner layers). The top layer is dyed with synthetic colours that meet the organic standard, while the inner layers are undyed and unbleached. Eco Femme states that the product life of the pads is approximately 75 – 100 washes, or 3 - 5 years, depending on usage and care.
